Final Fantasy 10 was my absolute favorite video game ever. My favorite part of it was the brilliantly crafted, engaging and heart-wrenching(at times) storyline. Every time I play it I get so depressed because I wish there was more to it. And in reality, there kind of is more to it: Final Fantasy X-2. I bought the game for the sole purpose that it was the sequel to the greatest game ever. When I started playing it, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The game pretty much took Yuna who is a very not-slutty character and turned her into this pop-singer-stripper type character which was probably meant to make all the creeps out there horny. I am straight, but I don't want that kind of crap. It seems like a humungous joke. The only characters you can play as are girls(not to be sexist) but I can just tell that the creators were trying to add some sex appeal factor which is extremely contradictory to the first game. I don't want to play the game and find out that I completely wasted my time and was totally let down. So for those of you who have played it, I want to know if it is even worth playing. Try to focus more on the storyline over the gameplay. Thanks, help me make the right decision

I don't know, I personally thought it was so much fun. FFX is also one of my all time favs. FFX-2 is funny and the battle system is even better. In fact, I consider FFX-2's battle system to be the best in the entire series (I played all FF games). Now about the story, I have no problem with it at all, but I know some people didn't like it. I'd say, just focus on the gameplay. There are so many things you can do in that game, lots of missions and dungeons, it's amazing. The job system is very well done.

Surely. In comparison with X, it is a gentle, breezy sequel that does not take itself too significantly. Fight is interesting and rapid paced, unlike X's method headquartered battles. There may be additionally a considerable amount of replay worth. There's a brand new recreation+ function, alternate endings, and hidden costumes. I had a exceptional time with it. Sure, it's now not as powerful or epic as X's story however rectangular did a nice job with it. Definitely valued at the trouble. Plus, it is a greatest Hit now so it's simplest $20. However you might more often than not to find it on ebay for $10.

If you just want some filler and extra story to add on what happened after the ending of FFX then it's worth playing. I liked it but, there are some people who thought the game was absolute garbage. It had more or less the same battle system but, you had different outfits you could wear that gave you different abilities and powers. And had different cards I guess you'd call them that had limited slots for a set number of outfits. The better cards had more slots for different outfits giving you a larger selection. It had a decent story and decent battle system and blitz ball makes a return but, lacks the fun without Wakka and Tidus. Overall good game and worth playing I'd say.
