How can I get my kid back in sims 4?

My child got taken away and i want to know if theres a way to get him back. Thank you.

Once the social worker takes them, they disappear from the game world entirely. You can't have them back. The consequences of not taking care of kids in the Sims are designed to be permanent. Dunno about 4 because I dislike it strongly; but in other Sims games you're not even allowed to adopt after you've had a child taken away.
