I am Looking for a good RPG game, something Tied in with real life experiences with virtual characters, open world adventure, character customization and Weaponry.
Time zones can be any from future to the far past.
I haven't been able to find a decent one to fit the criteria.
* Games that I have already tried!!!
- Fallout, 1,2,3,New Vegas
- All of the Elder Scrolls
- C9
- All mass effect games (Prefer these games for character interaction).
- Lord of the Rings online
- Conan
- Borderlands 1 and 2
- All Fable Games (Also good character Interaction)
- Most of the Final Fantasy games (Not the Online one)
- Fantasy Star Universe (X360)
- Runescape
- Runes of Magic
(Oh i hate the button mashin' thing: like World of Warcraft)
- World of Warcraft
- All of the Battleon games (Adventure Quest and stuff)
- Talisman Online
- All Point Bulletin: Reloaded
- Aika
- Perfect World
- Dragon Age
- Fantasy Star Online 2 (Beta)
- There are loads more but I can't think of em.

So basically what I want in the game is:
Combat - Any view (3rd or 1st), Shoot/Hack and Slash, No button Mashing for Skills.
Character Customization - I want to be able to be a persona in this world, and customize him/her in my own way.
Character Interration - I want to be able to talk and make good or evil choices to people in the world around me.
Online or Offline, doesn't bother me, but I do like company.
Plenty of Customizable items/Clothing/Armor for my character.

Yeah so any suggestions? :P
(I would prefer it if it was a free game, downloads don't bother me, but free. And from that yeah PC is a preference). Thanks!

Sounds like you need a little SWTOR in your life. =P

It's a really good game and the good news is not only is is free-to-play (f2p) up to lvl 15 right, which would allow you to test out all the classes on both Empire & Republic factions....it's going f2- up to lvl 50 in November if I remember right. I think they're increasing the lvl cap as well, but you'll have to pay for the subscription if you want that as well as other benefits within the game. But, hey...f2p is all you need to find out if it's worth it, right?

1) Awesome storylines & voice acting. In addition to that it's Bioware....aka Dragon Age....meaning choices....evil...good....sarcastic/rude/smartass/etc with all the quests conversations. About 95% of the quests are voice acting. On the Empire side (if you're interested in storyline) I'd have to rate them in order starting with the best storyline....Imperial Agent >> Sith Inquisitor >> Sith Warrior >> Bounty Hunter. I haven't finished the Bounty Hunter yet, but I'm at the very end pretty much (lvl 49). After that I am going to work on the 4 storylines on the Republic side.

2) Character custimization is also available. Design your character like other MMO's in the beginning. When you reach lvl 50 you can unlock that class allowing you to create that same class on the opposing faction. (ex. take a Sith to lvl 50 on the empire and you'll be able to make a Sith Trooper/Jedi/Smuggler on the Republic side) A lot of the gear is custimizable allowing you to put stats from other gear into the gear with the apperance you like.

3) They did a good job at making you feel like a b*d*ss. You can pretty much solo all the planets' quests along with your entire storyline as long as you're in the recommended lvl for that area. The only time you really need additional party members is for flashpoints/operations/heroics (aka dungeons) which they have a group finder for if you're worried about shouting for members to get it done.

I've been playing MMO's since '96 and story-wise this is #1 due to A grade on story & voice acting & conversation choice options.

4) PvP they have warzones and you occasionally run into opposing faction in the open worlds. You can pvp at lvl 10 in warzones and they boost your stats to lvl 50 stat, but of course you're still at some disadvantage due to lack of skills for your level and stat bonuses from your gear. I still find it fun. Originally they threw everyone into the same warzones which people were getting frustrated due to lvl 50's with pvp gear trampling you all the time. But, now they seperated it so lvls 10-49 play together while 50's only play with 50's in the warzones. Of course, you'll probably experience some frustration when you're newly 50 since some of the other 50's will have a jump in PvP gear.

Oh, I just started playing Xcom: Enemy Unknown this week. Had a 9.5 rating. I played the original and loved it and I'm thankful they didn't butcher it with the remake. I actually like it more than the original. It's a turn-based strategy game, but really fun. Should check out the demo.

-Phantasy Star

-Shadowrun (you might like it, I certainly do)

-Anarchy Online (free cyberpunk MMORPG)

-Chrono Trigger series

-Beyond Oasis

-Elder scrolls/Fallout series with mods (if you havn't done this yet, do it!)

Star Ocean: The last hope it's pretty good, has a good storyline, and a bunch of unlockables when you finish the game. ^-^ Eternal Sonata definitely cause it has a very different type of storyline I have ever seen in a game. Resonance of fate is good, it's mainly about corruption, power, and deceit and a bunch of other stuff I can't mention cause it would give away the story lol. Tales of vesperia is also one to check out, beautiful cinematics, the character is a little bit different than you would expect in most jrpgs, but fun most of all. Hope that helped. ^-^

Diablo III is a great RPG game and it definitely fits in with all of your criteria. However, even though you have to pay for the product, I still suggest you buy it since you will get hours of fun and enjoyment out of the game.

Try FO (Fantasy Online) it's not too bad, but you'll probably complain about the 2d, pixelated graphics.
