Calling all gamers! I need help deciding on which system i should get!?

Question

Okay, my birthday is in one month, and I want to get a new system, since my xbox got the three rings of death.. Anyways, I love xbox because it's online system in my opinion is way better... also more of my friends, and more people in general people in general have an xbox with live. But PS3 is has better, well, everything else. From the graphics to the device that picks up wireless internet signals so i don't have to waste 100$ on one for the xbox. Also, i love how you can go and browse the internet with the PS3. I bearly ever play single player games, im all about being online with other players and being 's competative. So the system needs to be good with it's online capabilites.
I'm into games such as Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (coming out in march) & Modern warfare 2, but then again i love my hack and slash games like oblivion: elder scrolls, and WoW. (MMORPG's are my favorite, it's too bad that there is only like 1 out right now for the xbox and it's way outdated =/)
So the system needs to carry a lot of games like those..
Please help me decide, tell me the pros and cons of each, and if there is any new technology coming out for each that will make it bigger and better.

Note: What really pisses me off about xbox is that they break.. SO MUCH! And they scratch your disks and **** even with the slightest touch.. PS3's seem to be better built
(Me and my brothers have had xbox's in the past, total of like 5 and EVERY single one of them got either 2 or 3 red rings of death...................)

I was in the same situation for a long time because i was always a ps person i had ps1 and ps2 and loved them and i hated xbox and the controller for the orignal xbox was too big i hated the controls for other systems besides ps.. from like 2005 till now every1 begged me ot get a xbox 360 or w.e year it came out especailly and i always said no thinking it would suck and i would hate it.. i wanted ps3 for the racthet and clanks and warhawk n games i liked.. but if i got a ps3 then i cant play online with any1 because all my friends have xbox 360 and i got mad n i was finally talked into buying 360 which i didnt wanna do and ever since i got it i honestly cant be happier because 1 the controller is just like hte ps controller only better cause its a little better shaped and a little bigger so its more of a fit which id never think was possible to beat the ps controller.. and 2 the online and graphics is way better.. no1 is online ps3 no1 has it.. i got call of duty modern warfare 2 and i never stop plying it for like over a month now i play it for like 8 hours a day its the best game ever and i can play with all my friends.. honestly just go with the xbox take it from me and ps3 from what i heard is terrible anyway.. even if it brakes u just get a new 1 for free from the company and it wont brake unless u REALLLY leave it on for more than 14 hours in a row each day or on overnight.. best asnwer

I think you should get a PS3.Xbox systems do have chances of overheating and getting the red ring of death.Also,you have to pay for xbox live,while you can get online on the PS3 for free.Ps3's online capabilities are good,but lag sometimes.And you have browser,PS home,plays Blu-Ray,and alot more.But there are some games on the Xbox that you can't play on PS3,such as Halo,and the other way around for Ps3.

I have a ps3 and i love it.I think you should go with a PS3.

honestly this is a hard choice but im going to have to go with ps3. online is free. breaks but less than xbox. plays blu-ray and dvd. servers lag sometimes but mostly good.most good games are starting to be made for ps3. one of the good games is God Of War 3. ps3 also has a wireless adapter for the internet. so yea ...... theres more reasons but i dont wanna list them all

without, announcing too a lot, - it is all comes right down to private selection of course,come down on your possibilities on Xbox stay vs PSN+ , twin ask your self 4 Vs Xbox One Controller, and the unique franchises on each and each platform, which will make the adaptation for you. the two structures are far greater suitable than what we use now, the only distinction in the structures is exclusives. third party devs will make video games an identical for the two consoles only as they do now. if Xbox 360 made you satisfied, and you like XBox controller then it quite is your answer..only purchase the console you experience will furnish you a greater suitable fee.. no longer something incorrect with getting Xbox One.. if launch video games attraction to you. then get it it quite is all.Now as for me Sony consoles has been a mainstay in my mattress room/dorm room/lounge. It only feels top. the form of video games I desire - specifically area of interest eastern video games - look on Sony consoles completely or a minimum of expertise greater at abode there. And with PS4, curiously to be the abode of those kinds of video games besides as super finding indie video games only like the Witness, Octodad, and Transistor. Intend to purchase the two consoles this year, yet PS4 will come first...
