counter strike source isnt updating?

Question

so I went to play counter strike source the other day and it said I had to update it, so im like ok. It got to 89% and then it stoped updating so i was like mmmk and started it again but now its glitched and now it just says "downloading starting..." and it wont finish updating.

ive tryed restarting steam and starting and stoping it but it wont do anything, can someone help?

Go into steam, select your games tab. Right click on counter strike, then properties, then verify the integrity of files. If that doesn't help then you can either delete the game content by right clicking and reinstall, or pause and unpause the download until it starts up again.
