how to play .rar files with pcsx2?

I have just recently downloaded a torrent for shin megami tensei: persona 3 fes and all of the files came in .rar format and goes from st2-p3fes.r00 to st2-p3fes.r55 and the last one is st2-p3fes.rar. I have the 7zip program but im not sure what to do and how to play the game after. can somebody please help me?

download winrar from download.com right click extract here once you get the iso pcsx2 config cdrom find iso click ok file run cd

You can use winrar to unzip zip files (or to open compressed folder). 7zip or winzip are other softwares you can use for the same purpose but winrar is by far the best one. All these programs work in a very similar way: you just have to right click the file to zip or unzip any folders or files.

With WINRAR you will be able to open all the type of compressed folder like file .zip, .rar, .7z, .7zip .iso, .tar, .jar etc... that's the main reason why I recommend it.

First, dont downlaod games.

but for future refrence right click on hte "st2-p3fes.rar" file, ie the one wihtout a number, and chosoe 7-zip -Extract Files ( ithink it changes to Extract All if its multiple files) then hit okay on the next screen and wait a while for it to uncompress hte folders into one file.

You will need WinRar to extract the files.use this trial version.

after installing WinRar double click on any one of the files and click on wizard at the top ( this will piece together all the files into an ISO. file)



Now open your pcsx2 emulator and load the ISO file.
