what is spike strip in nfs most wanted?

i am playing nfs most wanted. i am able to complete all the milestone events, but i cant under stand this spike strip. what is ment by dodge spike strip roadblocks. how to do it. what to do i this. should i break the police road blocks or any other things are there. pls explain.

In some roadblocks (those usually found in highways) there will be a metallic strip full of spikes, on the ground. If you run over them your tires would burst and your car will lose traction. Then escaping the police will be almost impossible.

The spike strip is usually placed along with other police cars. So if you see a road block with a gap in it look again there might be a spike strip there. If you spot one aim for the cars instead.

when your heat level rises to 3 or more,,roadblocks will be setup along with spike strips....a spike strip is a strip full of spikes...if you run over it your tires will burst and you will lose grip and then you will not be able to dodge the police.....when ever you approach a roadblock use the speedbreaker key to slow down and look for spike strips...the default button for speedbreaker is G...police will often leave spaces beside their vehicles on roadblocks to show you a clear way so that you think it is a way to escape but they will often setup spike strips at that place....police even tell their fellow cops the location of the spike strips on radio..so keep you eyes and ears open

roadblocks can appear in any heat level (even in heat 1, although it is rarely noticed), but spike strips only appear in high heat levels

dont use nitrous perpetually.keep ur eye on the map..via how,spikes dont seem till warmth 4,so u can avert the law enforcement officers b4 u get 2 warmth 4..or alwayz keep ur eyes on the map and a million finger on the speedbreaker button..each and each time u see any cop in front of u ,use speedbreaker and verify what it iz..
