How do you make starting points in halo 3 forge mode?

How do you make starting points in halo 3 forge mode. When i mean starting points a do not mean a regular respawn point. I am told there is kind of a difference and i would like to how to make these starting points.

While in Monitor mode you have to change the game type from the start menu. For instance if it is going to be a slayer map you have to choose a slayer game type. After you select a game type you will be given more selections such as "starting points" and also re spawn areas and starting areas, Happy Forging

Go into monitor mode. Press start and go to change gametype. Choose the game type you want the starting point to be for (ex. slayer or infection). Then, go to the menu with respawn points and there will be 3 options (for most gametypes). The options are:

Respawn point,

Respawn area,

Starting point.
