How do you use the item finder in Pokemon Platinum?

Well as you can see it looks like a graph. Each little notch represents the 1 step or square and the center of the graph is where you are. Each time you tap the itemfinder it shows a little circle. This is the radar that finds the items.



When you tap a radar and you see a little flashing dot (This represents the item), try to move towards that direction and press A if you think you know where it is. If you cant find it, keep tapping it until you find the dot. (Be sure you're not standing directly on it.)



Sometimes, the radar may flash circles without showing a dot, dont worry. This only means that you are close to it. just try tapping around that area of the graph until you see the dot.
